Silk Way Weekly: Coalition of Afghanistan Protesting Women, on Sunday, 29 January 2023, in a gathering called on forming an alternative instead of Taliban and establishing an inclusive structure based on the will and vote of the people in the country.
These women, in a statement said they want equal participation of women in social and political structures of Afghanistan.
The protesting women added “Taliban educational curriculum, Taliban university, Taliban laws, Taliban structure, are not acceptable for them and all of them are unacceptable form our address.”
The statement added that “The world should know that Afghanistan has changed to the safest haven of the terrorists.” In the region and the Taliban group, has the biggest terrorist recruitment in the country. The world should take action before another September 11, happens.
The statement notes excluding women from academic institutions means exclusion of the future of Afghanistan and international organizations should take concrete steps to stop the Taliban exclusionary policies.
The protesting women said “No political lobbying woman, represents the women’s rights protesting women of Afghanistan.”
After the Taliban take over in August, Afghan women took to the streets for their rights and they have protested and opposed the Taliban exclusionary policies on the streets and at their homes; however the Taliban oppressive policies have increasingly intensified and the international community has taken no practical preventive actions measures against the Taliban.
