Silk Way Weekly: In two different incidents two youngsters took their lives in Balkh and Badakhshan provinces.
According to reliable sources in Badakshan a youngster, aged 15, killed himself in PD 6, Faiz Abad city, Badakhsan, with eating rat poison.
According to the sources Noorulhoda killed himself after he had a quarrel with his father.
The family of the victim, and Badakhsahan local authorities, as yet, have not responded on the issue.
In addition to that, local sources in Balkh province report that a youngeter, aged 15, has killed himself in Balkh. The incident occurred on Saturday, 28 January 2023, in Kaldar province.
Local sources confirm that the victim was a main resident of Qala e Zal of Konduz and killed himself in the house of his employer in Kaldar district, Balkh.
The motive behind the incident is not clear and Balkh authorities have not responded on the issue yet.
Two women had killed themselves by eating rat poison in Bamyan province some days ago and tow other women attempted unsuccessfully to kill themselves there.
