The resolution of the global demonstrations to boycott the Doha meeting and protest the world’s deal with terrorists

As activists, and independent members of the Afghan civil society, we warn the United Nations that inviting the Taliban means ignoring the will of the Afghan people. The Taliban are a group of terrorists, criminals and lacking any political and legal legitimacy, who have seized political power through terror and intimidation by using military violence during the past three decades. As a result of the unbridled crimes of this group, nearly two hundred thousand people have been killed in Afghanistan and millions of other people have been displaced and their lives have been affected. In our opinion, any kind of understanding with this group, under the name of “negotiation”, is an open interaction with war criminals, perpetrators of crimes against humanity, agents of gender apartheid and sworn enemies of the Afghan people and human values such as justice, dignity and freedom.

While protesting and standing against the invitation of the Taliban terrorist group and the presence of this group in the Doha meeting, we warn the United Nations, the countries participating in this meeting and the international human rights institutions that interacting with the Taliban is a transaction of all human values and human rights that They claim it. While boycotting any consensus and meeting with the aim of interacting with the Taliban, we ask the United Nations and countries to change the direction of their dialogue from the Taliban to the people of Afghanistan and try to remove this disgrace from the lap of humanity, along the people and popular progressive forces of Afghanistan.

Our demands and the obligations of the United Nations:

1. Criminalization and recognition of the apartheid regime in Afghanistan: Women and LGBT people are clearly under the apartheid regime. It is the duty of the United Nations and its member states to criminalize and recognize gender apartheid in Afghanistan.

2. The Taliban in Afghanistan, by denying and suppressing religions and other religions, systematically pursue genocide in Afghanistan. There are enough documents of genocide by this group in the first round of their rule and also during twenty years of conflict with the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan system and three years of their re-rule over Afghanistan, which the United Nations and all countries involved in the Afghanistan issue consider it documented.

3. Pursuing the war crimes and crimes against humanity committed by the Taliban indiscriminately, and sufficient documentation has been prepared by domestic and international institutions, which makes this fact clear.
4. Preventing the brutal repression of the Taliban, such as the forced migration of native people from their lands and the transfer of regional and global terrorists for the purpose of spreading terrorism and controlling people in different regions of Afghanistan.

5. Establishing international sanctions against the Taliban terrorist regime and keeping the name of this group and its individuals and leaders in the list of terrorist organizations and banning the travel of terrorist members of this group outside of Afghanistan. Every trip of Taliban members to the countries of the world means recruitment for the purpose of spreading global terrorism that the world should consider this situation as a serious warning.

6. As soon as possible, cut off the access of the Taliban to the humanitarian aid of the world, which is sent in the name of the people of Afghanistan; Because according to the documents, the Taliban use a large part of this aid, which should be distributed to the beneficiaries, for the military and economic strengthening of themselves and other terrorist groups.

7. Adopting a global and practical policy to eliminate any ethnic, linguistic, religious and gender discrimination and oppression in Afghanistan.

8. Returning the seat of Afghanistan’s representative in the United Nations to the people of Afghanistan as the only international platform for forty million people who are currently held captive by a terrorist group.

9. Creating practical mechanisms and facilitating the possibility of dialogue with the Afghan people about the formation of a transitional government. Increasing the external pressure on the Taliban will increase the internal and popular pressure on this group and will pave the way for the formation of a transitional government.

10. Establishing the process of transitional justice and dealing with half a century of human crimes in order to recognize the pain and suffering of the families of the victims of war, crime and killing in Afghanistan; Until the war criminals are brought to trial, there will be no lasting peace and the current crisis in Afghanistan will not end.

11. Emphasizing the decentralization of power in Afghanistan and helping to create a democratic structure in which the existence of current pluralism in Afghanistan is guaranteed and different ethnic, religious and class groups of the society can see themselves and not be exploited by the central power.

12. Ensuring the rights of women and sexual and gender minority populations as the biggest victims of structural and double discrimination and oppression in Afghanistan.

13. Creating fundamental changes in educational, health, security and defense systems for the benefit of the people. In the end, we repeat that any negotiation and dialogue that does not consider these fundamental and legitimate demands of the Afghan people is an open deal with terrorism.

We state that if these demands are ignored, Afghanistan under the rule of the Taliban will soon become the headquarters of the international terrorism command. So now dozens of terrorist groups have established schools and military training camps and terrorist attacks in this country.

We firmly declare that the only way to fight insecurity in Afghanistan, the region and the world is to destroy the Taliban and give political authority to its source, the people of Afghanistan. People whose voice, will, and effort have never been recognized as a part of human society to realize development, peace, and democracy; But they have always wanted a humane, degnified and peaceful life with themselves, the region and the world.
