Taliban Detains 3 Women’s Rights Activists And Their Brother In Kabul

the Silk Way Weekly: Sources informed the Silk Way Weekly that Taliban officials have detained three sisters, who are women’s rights activists, along with their brother.

They were arrested from their home in Dashte Barchi area on March 29, in western Kabul around 6pm on Wednesday.

These sisters named Azada Rezaei (25), Nadia Rezaei (17) and Elaha Rezaei (14), along with their brother, Yahya Rezaei (22). Sources reported that relatives of these girls have been unable to find any clues about the whereabout of these girls.

Taliban officials have not commented on the issue why these girls have been detained.
Previously, the Taliban had also detained women’s rights protestors from different provinces of Afghanistan and had not shared their whereabout with the citizens and media outlets.
