The Silk Way Weekly- Kabul: It is about two years that Afghan girls are deprived of education. The doors of schools and universities are closed on them and their drams are being destroyed by a terrorist group. Hope for the future is at its lowest levels among the Afghan citizens, specially the Afghan girls and women. In such a condition, to motivate girls and the Afghan citizens in general, is the responsibility of each Afghan responsible citizen.
“Girls on the path of Education” is one of the organizations that strives to keep the torch of hope shining in the heart of Afghan girls. To this end, it has conducted workshops on importance of studying for girls in Kabul and other provinces.
Tuba Mubarez, A member of the Girls on the Path of Education, and one of conductors of the workshop told SWW about the objectives of this workshop, “We aim to give hope to the deprived Afghan girls. Girls on the path of education plans to conduct workshops on importance of education and its constructive role for shaping the mindset of the girls in Ghor, Logar and Qandahar provinces.
After the Taliban take over in August 15, 20121, millions of Afghan Girls have been deprived of education and the doors of schools and universities have been closed on them and limitation on them has increasingly been intensified.
