Jade-Abresham(Silk Way)Weekly:Taliban has forcibly taken guarantees from Panjshir residents not to cooperate with the armed opposition of the f Taliban in Panjshir.
Local sources on 12 June said the Taliban has forcibly taken commitment letters from Panjshri residents not to cooperate with the NRF.
Part of the commitment letter says the village residents of Panjshir must report anywhere they see members of NRF.
Some experts believe the Taliban seek to find a way how to kill civilians in Panjshir and such commitment letters are one of such ways; because if someone sees the NRF members and does not report to the Taliban, they kill the person. Taliban shot and killed a student in Panjshir in charge of not showing the hideout of the NRF members.
Local sources say the Taliban had asked Zain Uddin and his brother to show them the hideout of the NRF members. Zain Uddin had told them he was a student and did not know the hideout of the NRF members. Then Taliban had cut off Zain Uddin’s ear, shot in his eyes, and thrown him down the mountain.
Taliban had already taken written guarantees from the residents of Abdullah Khil and Tondkhoe of Panjshir. Taliban had told these residents they must prevent NRF attacks from these areas. Taliban have increased their military pressures on Panjshri residents; killing, torturing, and shot and killing them. Taliban even kill the animals of Panjshir residents.
On 28 May, detained 20 residents of Korpitab village of Parian district and tortured them. Then Taliban killed the animals and dogs of these people and destroyed their homes.
On 10 June, the Taliban shot and killed Habibullah who had injuries in his leg in the police the checkpoint in charge of cooperating with NRF.
Relatives of Habibullah said he was not a member of the NRF but was injured by a bullet when there was fighting between the NRF and Taliban in his village.
