The young girl is from Pasaband district and has been engaged; but Taliban officials have broken into her house and regardless of local traditions married her with her fiancé.
In a video shared by the social media, a young girl is taken out from her home by Taliban officials and carried out by them.
The video shows Taliban beating the family members of the girl who prevent Taliban to forcibly take their daughter.
Local media reported Taliban officials in Ghor including Khairullah KhairKhah, the Taliban Ghor provincial governor, Abdul Hamid Khalid, Ghor police commander, Mohammad Shafaq, Deputy intelligence, were present on the scene.
After resumption of power by Taliban in 2021, Taliban officials have compelled many girls into a forced marriage with their members in different provinces.
