Nargis Sadat, the protesting girl, detained

 

Silk Way Weekly: The statement of the Main Movement of Afghanistan Powerful Women Nargis Sadat, member of the Leadership Council of the Movement, was detained on February 23, 2023, by the Taliban.

Nargis Sadat, member of the Leadership Council of the Movement, was detained from PD3, at 3: pm, Pul e Sorkh.

The family of Sadat say they don’t have any information of her after she was detained by the Taliban.

Taliban also detained Parisa Mobariz, founder of Takhar Women’s Movement, February at 8: am on 23, 2023, along with his brother from their home in Takhar.

Parisa’s family say they have no information of Parisa and they worried about her life.

Richard Bonnet, the Special Rapporteur of the UN Human Rights Organization, condemning detention of Parsa Mobariz by the Taliban urged the group to release her with no conditions.

Taliban have detained several women’s rights activists including Morsal Ayar, Zarifa Yaqubi, Tamanna Zaryab Pariani, and Parwana Ebrahim Khil extra legally and have tortured them.
