The United Nations Assistance Mission in Afghanistan (UNAMA) has expressed deep concern over the reports of human rights violations in Panjshir. In a twit released on Wednesday, 14 September UNAMA wrote claims over human rights violations in Panjshir are seriously concerning.
UNAMA has emphasized all sides shall remain committed to the international treaties and respect the rights of prisoners.
UNAMA also has termed the recent killings in Panjshir act of war crimes and said its perpetrators shall be brought to justice.
UNAMA has also said it watches closely the situation in Panjshir.
Videos released on social media show the Taliban fighters shot and kill more than 10 prisoners of NRF in a desert court.
