Why Does the US Dispatch Army Special Forces to Ukraine as War Mercenaries?

The Zero-One and Zero-Two Units

recently A group of Afghan forces trained by American and British experts in various military and intelligence specialties during Hamid Karzai and Ashraf Ghani’s government has been sent to Ukraine to confront Russian troops. During the evacuation, the American government transferred the people of the “zero-one and zero-two” national security units to the United States. For years, these two forces fought for American personal and intelligence interests outside the administration of the former government in southern Afghanistan.

The Proxy War for Personal Interests

During the evacuation from Afghanistan, these forces were the most trusted people for the American government, who were evacuated from Kabul to several countries, including the United Arab Emirates. In addition, some of these forces were part of the special forces of the former Afghan National Army and have been transferred to America as well. During this time, these special forces have lived without financial support in America and other countries that the American government transferred, and now they are facing many problems. The process of accepting them as American citizens has also had its difficulties. Nevertheless, the United States is using these two weaknesses because the cost of the former Afghan militaries is far less than the cost of new American soldiers. Now America has sent them to a war in which Afghanistan has no interest. These soldiers will be known as international terrorists fighting for America’s self-interest in the Ukraine war against the Russian people and forces.

The Use of State Terrorism

Speaking to Sputnik, Mohammad Yahya Chavosh, a former Afghan national security officer member and an expert on Afghanistan’s political issues. he said, “The United States is one of the countries, or rather the leader, that has always supported state terrorism and has used and continues to use terrorists as a means to achieve its goals around the world.” According to Mr. Chavosh, the United States of America has evacuated two groups of special soldiers or trained commandos of the Afghan National Army, which included the National Security Unit 01 and 02, from Afghanistan and transferred them to the United States. The American government has placed several of these army special forces in an American military base in the United Arab Emirates. Since the beginning war in Ukraine, the US planned to transfer about 2000 of these commandos of the Afghan National Army to Ukraine.

The Inviting of Daesh Fighters in the Ukraine War

Therefore, the Americans managed to send a large number of these army commandos who were attached to the American forces to Tajikistan. Then sent them to the war in Ukraine under the pretext of taking them to a safe place. These soldiers with unknown names participated in many operations in Ukraine. According to Mohammad Chavosh, these army commandos did not voluntarily participate in these operations in Ukraine and were not sent through Afghanistan. But, the North Atlantic Treaty or “NATO” and the United States did the organization and transfer of these forces. In general, not only former special troops of the Afghan National Army were used in the operations in Ukraine, but the United States, through Ukraine, even invited ISIS forces to participate in the war of Ukraine and fight against Russian forces.

The ISIS Training and Equipping Centers in Pakistan

At the same time, they decided to gather several thousand ISIS terrorist forces from Syria, Iraq, Somalia, and some African and Arab countries and use them as war mercenaries in the Ukraine war against Russia and its allies. According to Chavosh, the American state invested in these war mercenaries from the beginning of the war in Ukraine. In the same way, the US used to invest in jihadist organizations in Afghanistan in the past. There are even centers of these organizations in Pakistan. America is now using the same centers to train and equip the ISIS terrorist group. Among these centers, two Pakistani airports, one Shamsi Airport in Baluchistan state and the other one in Punjab state, have been provided to the United States for the flights of American planes and drones. Even the American military planes carry out reconnaissance and patrol flights from these bases in the Indian Ocean and the Persian Gulf. Meanwhile, from the same bases in Pakistan, American drones have been conducting reconnaissance flights in Afghanistan for some time.

The Abusing of the Afghan Army’s Skills in a Proxy War

Nevertheless, the issue of sending Afghan soldiers to Ukraine was raised for the first time by the former US ambassador to Kosovo, Philip S. Kosnett. In this case, he said that the United States government created a special unit of Afghan special forces soldiers in the American army. From his point of view and analysis, Afghans are well-versed in guerrilla warfare and fighting on the battlefields. Although, the US does not have a direct military and field intervention in the Ukraine war against Russia. The United States could not even create a no-fly zone in Ukraine because of Russia’s fear of supporting the Kurds against Saddam Hussein’s regime in Iraq and the fighters against the Assad regime in Syria. At the beginning of the war, the Ukrainian government asked foreign fighters to come to this country to fight against Russia. In the beginning, many foreign fighters, especially from Western countries, prepared to fight against Russia and went to Ukraine. Then these Western and European warriors very soon called this war pointless and returned to their countries.

Joining with the ISIS Group in Proxy Wars

Russia has repeatedly stated that all foreign mercenaries in Ukraine are legitimate military targets for the country’s armed forces, which the Russian forces will target. It should be remembered that Zamir Kabulov, Russia’s special representative for Afghanistan affairs, said on August 16 that many former Afghan special forces has been recruited in the Ukraine war. Even some of these forces have joined the ISIS group fighting in Syria and northern Afghanistan. This issue was predictable before as well. Finally, this scenario could be a repetition of the Iraq scenario that led to the rise of the ISIS group.
