On 14 June 2022, informed the women’s accessories shops in Herat they shall not allow women to enter their shops if they are not accompanied by their intimates.
Taliban forces gathered women from Jade Lilami in Herat and forced them to leave there. They have told shopkeepers to not allow women into their shops to prevent sin and corruption.
Taliban department of ordering to virtue and prohibiting from vice had already ordered women tailors, in Herat to stop this “Haram or unlawful” job.
