Members of Afghan Women Protesters, Afghan Women Movement for Justice and Freedom, and Movement for Justice staged protests on poverty, increased unemployment, and limitations imposed by the Taliban on Afghan women. These three women movements gave been jointly staging protests against the Taliban’s anti-women policies, and they staged a joint protest on May 30, 2022.
Though Afghan women have come to the streets protesting the Taliban restrictions during the last 9 months, there have been no changes in the Taliban’s restrictive policies and denying the basic rights of women.
