Jade-abresham: 2021 was a miserable year for the people of Afghanistan. It was a scaly wound that wounded everyone. He made everyone homeless. Helpless and carefree. Black crows migrated the beautiful birds of civilization and humanity. Gorgan, thirsty for human blood, invaded the cities. The army of ignorance and betrayal attacked the city of knowledge and wisdom. The thinkers, thinkers and writers of the country became poor and displaced. Demons of ignorance and madness have made cities more terrifying and frightening than plains and deserts.
In the midst of all this pain and sorrow, regret and despair, the publication of Professor Ali Mohammad Zahma’s book is a pure and rare gift in the dark and oppressive atmosphere of the country. “History of Afghanistan at a Glance”, a valuable work by Professor Zahma in Iran, has been printed and will soon enter the country. This book is as important and valuable as its author has an irreplaceable, special and exceptional place in the scientific and cultural community of the country.
The Silk Road Weekly congratulates the lovers of knowledge and wisdom, the families of the master, and especially those who have taken the trouble to collect, edit, plan and finance the scientific event.
“History of Afghanistan at a Glance” is the first work by Professor Zahma who has been in print since his death. In the hope that one day all the works of the late master will be published.
Professor Ali Mohammad Zahma died on May 15, 2016 at the age of 96 in Vienna, Austria. His death shook the scientific and cultural community inside and outside the country. From the vice president of the previous government to prominent political, scientific and cultural figures of the country, they reacted to the death of Professor Ali Mohammad Zahma, expressing their condolences and grief.
Ali Amiri, a professor at Zahma University, called the death of “Purple Horn”. This title was also the name of a special issue in the weekly Silk Road, which was published in issue 103 on August 7, 2016 in connection with the death of Professor Zahma.
