Jade-Abresham(Silk Way): Local sources in Nangarhar said that unknown armed men shot and killed Mawlawi Mohammad Qayum, a local elder, in Chaparhar district on 5 August.
According to the local sources in Nangarhar, Mawlawi Qayum had no hostility with no one and during the former government, he was involved in socio-ethnic activities.
The Taliban officials in Nangarhar, had not commented on the incident yet.
