Jade-Abresham(Silk Way): There were several security incidents during the last week in Afghanistan. They include mysterious killings, terrors, threats, insults, rapes and shot killings the citizens by Taliban.
There were two cases of raping and detaining a women’s rights activist by Taliban in Bamyan and Takhar provinces on August 2 but the perpetrators have not been arrested yet.
In another case, based on a video sent to JAW by a girl, she has claimed that Taliban have raped her and her brother’s wife in Farkhar district of Takhar.
The girl does not mention the name of Farkhar distirict governor but says they had a legal case and the Taliban district governor had come to their house for resolving their case but the district governor and his bodyguards have raped her and her brother’s wife.
She said “there are many cases of raping in Farkhar district but there is no one to support the victims.”
The two women have moved from where they lived and Taliban have threatened them not to publicize the case.
Bamyan: Taliban district governor for Yakawlang district no 1, has beaten a farmer and finalized the conflict case he had with his neighbor to the favor of the neighbor. Local sources say that the farmer had conflict on agriculture water with a man named Sayed Arfi.
Daykondi: Taliban detained a-10-year old son of a former security force in Nawmamish of Daykondi and has tied his legs by chains.
Local sources in Daykondi say that Mohammas Zabuli, a former ANSF, had fleed to Iran after Kabul fell and returned to Daykondi after hearing the news his son has been detained by Taliban on August 2. Following this, Taliban had surrounded Zabuli’s house and detained him after hours of armed clashes. Now, both father and son are in prison.
Badakhsan: Local sources in Badakhsan say that Taliban whipped a girl and boy accused of going to recreation on August 2.
Paghman: Qand Agha, a former ANSF, was detained by Taliban on Jul 31. However, Taliban officials have denied it.
Sar e Pul: Taliban detained a young man named Timoor Big accused of cooperation with Dustom from the center of the province. Local sources in Sar e Pul said that Taliban had severely beaten the man.
Panjshri: Taliban have given a one-week deadline to Hesrak village of Rakha district to evacuate their village. There are 200 families in Hesarak village but Taliban tend to change it to a military base.
Panjshri: Taliban imprisoned men and young boys of Astana village located in provincial capital of Panjshir for 5 hours accused of cooperation with the NRF. Locals sources in Panjshir say that Taliban have changed the schools and educational centers of the village to military bases.
Daykondi: Taliban detained Mohsen Rezaie, a local community leader, and took him to an unknown place on 27 Jul. Local sources in Daykondi say that Taliban intelligence have deatained Taher, a former employee of the US forces, from Kiti district.
Parwan: 3 people, one woman and two boys, of a family were injured due to Taliban gun fire on 26 Jul. There have been several reports of deliberate gun fires on civilians by Taliban in the past.
Ghazni: Local sources in Ghazni say that a grocery man has been shot killed by Taliban on 26 Jul in Vegetable market of Ghzni.
Badghis: A woman was killed by armed men in Jowand district. The Taliban officials said that they had arrested one man in connection to the incident.
Ghor: A doctor named Mohammad Rasool has been killed with knie by unknown men in Lal wa Sarjangle district on Jul 31. He has been killed while irrigating his farm land.
Kabul: Taliba Hossain, a young doctor, was killed in Karte Sakhi by unknown armed men on Jul 31. According to the local sources in Kabul, Talib Hossain was the Nursing manager of Istiqlal hospital in Kabul.
Qari Abdullah, a religious scholar, was beheaded by unknown men in Karte 4 of Kabul on 31 Jul.
Ghor: People found the dead by body of a young driver named Sajjad on 2 Aug. Local sources in Ghor said Sajjad had disappeared 40 days ago while travelling from Herat to Ghor.
Laghan: Qais, a former ANSF, was shot killed in front of his house on 1 Aug. Taliban have been accused of killing the former security members.
Herat: A former ANSF close to former Ghor MP Ebrahim Malikzada, was shot killed by unknown men in Chesht district on 29 Jul.
Konar: Mohammad Israel Najafi , a religious scholar, was killed in Sahibzadagan district on 30 Jul. 2 Aug.
Ghor: Abdul Mateen Mohammadi, a religious scholar, was killed by unknown men in Firuzkoh the capital city of Ghor on
A young man killed himself by pistol in Alfarooq district on 2 Aug.
Daykondi: Hekmatullah, a-25-year young man, killed himself in Patoo district after having a quarrel with his father in law. Before this incident, a young man had killed himself in Faryab and Balkh.
