Afghan Refugees in Islamabad: War in Ukraine, a good excuse to forget Afghan refugees

Jade-Abresham(Silk Way): Thousands of Afghans who fled Afghanistan due to life threats, complain it is 8 months that no country has paid attention to their cases.
It is more than 21 days that hundreds of Afghan refugees, mostly human rights activists and journalists, have been in Islamabad of Pakistan.
Some of these refugees say, it is months that they have been moved by some agencies and countries to Islamabad from Kabul, but not they have been left behind.
These agencies have told Afghan refugees, most of countries, especially the European countries, are concerned with the Ukraine refugees and can’t process the cases of Afghan refugees in Islamabad and those whose lives are in danger in Afghanistan.
The Afghan refugee demonstrators say the Ukraine war is only an excuse for them not to pay heed attention to their situation which is an unethical act and against the humanitarian values.
Aeisha (fake name), is one of the demonstrators in Islamabad. She said she had sold all her properties in Kabul and was moved to Islamabad by a foreign agency, but she and her children have been left behind now.
