Mr. Sarmast said the Taliban has not abandoned their anti-culture and anti-art policy and they continue to repress and kill musicians and music lovers. “In continuation of their anti-culture and savage approach, the Taliban terrorist group continue to insult and humiliate artists and musicians and slaughter art and music lovers”, he asserted.
Recently, local sources in Kunar confirmed that the Taliban had fired at a convoy of vehicles of a wedding party in Shaigal district of Kunar province, killing Yassin, brother of the groom, and wounded another. Yassin was killed for playing music in his car at his brother’s wedding!
