Silk Way Weekly: Local media report a local influential leader was killed in Balkh province.
According to the local sources, Sayed Mohamamd was taken out from his house in Langar Khana on February 11 and his body was handed over to his family one day after he was kidnapped.
The motive behind the incident is not clear and the Taliban local officials have not commented on the incident yet.
Criminal incidents including target and mysterious killings have increased recently in Kabul.
